The National Flower of India is Lotus flower.the flower represents the heritage, culture, tradition, and History of India. the flower is known “Padma” in the Sanskrit language.its a herb grows in water, the lotus flower is the symbol of purity of heart, mind spirituality, wealth, fruitfulness in Indian culture.it is also called water Lilly, the flower floats on the surface of the water due to air containing stem and belongs to Nymphaea species and growth of lotus is only in shallow waters.
